1. Who we are
Domestiq is a cycling and endurance sports training platform operated by Domestiq Limited (“we”, “us”). Our registered contact address is available on request. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.
2. What data we collect
- Account data: email address, username, display name, avatar
- Profile data: weight, FTP, heart rate zones, training preferences, gender (optional)
- Activity data: GPS routes, power, heart rate, cadence, elevation — imported from devices or uploaded as files
- Training data: planned workouts, events, goals, mental performance responses
- Payment data: subscription status (managed by Stripe — we never store card numbers)
- Usage data: pages visited, features used — for improving the product
3. Why we collect it
- To provide coaching analysis, PMC, power curve, and performance insights
- To generate AI coaching recommendations personalised to your data
- To sync activities from Strava, Garmin, Wahoo, Polar, and Hammerhead
- To process payments and manage your subscription
- To send transactional emails (account verification, password reset, receipts)
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your activity data for advertising purposes.
4. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days. Stripe may retain transaction records as required by financial regulations.
5. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or UK, you have the right to:
- Access: request a copy of your personal data
- Erasure: delete your account and all data via Settings → Danger Zone
- Portability: export your activities as FIT/GPX files
- Correction: update your profile at any time in Settings
- Objection: object to data processing by contacting us
To exercise any right, email us or delete your account directly from Settings.
6. Third-party services
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Anthropic — AI coaching analysis. Activity summaries are sent to Anthropic's API; no personally identifiable data beyond training metrics is included.
- Strava / Garmin / Wahoo / Polar — activity sync, governed by each provider's terms
7. Cookies
We use HTTP-only cookies for authentication (access token and refresh token). These are strictly necessary for the service to function and do not track you across other websites. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
